SWCC Ladies Retreat 2010
What a great time we had together as ladies this past weekend in Port Fairy! Around 40 ladies (and 2 babies) joined forces, for a weekend of fun, fantastic food and fabulous fellowship in Port Fairy.
We learned a lot about each other – the funny, the fascinating, and the inspirational to, as we shared our stories of where we have come from and where we are today because of those experiences. At times the laughter was uncontrollable, and there were also times that brought a tear to our eyes, but in it all we grew closer to each other, developed a great love and appreciation for each other, and resigned ourselves to cultivate those friendships in the future.
So in my eyes, the weekend was a huge success! As for the Op Shop formal dinner…well, I’m sure the photos will speak for themselves!! What a hoot!
Thank You, ladies, for making the weekend one that I will remember for a long time, and a springboard for us to build a much stronger community of women within out church.
