 Im considering running a basic/entry level 'workshop' on video editing and DVD authoring using Adobe Premiere Elements 4 (around $150 a copy - well worth it for the home videologist) at the Drop Zone when time permits.
Im not planning on having anything prepared and it will be a casual affair likely to last up to 4-6hrs. I will have my computer, possibly a laptop and projector set up so we can all see what is going on. ) or pop into the Drop Zone during the week, and depending on popularity, pick one up or order a copy (Free). Service worship and messages are not available on the DVDs due to recording/sound issues and space requirement.
After todays service has been edited and compressed to DVD, ill start on the Mens Conference and should have that ready by Friday (hopefully). Stay tuned for more info. Glenda & Shane have converted the footage from To Lesotho with Love down to 2 DVDs and are available from Jen Merritt or contact Pr Shane to get a copy. |

 You read it, and if you missed it... you are in luck! Ps Peter Nicholes, a Prophet, visted our church once again, and also conducted a Mens Conference during his visit, which has been recorded and will be available on DVD soon.
As at midnight, I have finished the editing of our Saturday & Sunday Services, held by Ps Peter, and will be authoring to DVD when I crawl into bed sometime hopefully soon. Friday night/saturday will be the next opportunity to start editing the footage from the Mens Conference and will likely be another week until the 2 DVD set is ready. Ill let you all know when each of these DVDs are finished and available. |

Team Lesotho is now in Africa working hard! Well, we have been off the radar over the past 2 days due to our home billet stays. WOW! What an experience. There were plenty of stories to share when we got back to our base accomodation. Some of us experienced eating different foods such as papa, sour porridge, and some... well, we couldn't put a name to it. But one thing we all agreed on was that the home stays were a wonderful experience where we were really able to connect with the local people - to witness the love and faith within the families and their willingness to share their homes and teach us some of their traditional customs and the way they do things.... Washing in a litre of water, no electricity and long drops (we'll explain when we get home) became part of our daily routine. The team is getting on really well and enjoying teaching and getting to know the local boys. They are so motivated to learn and gain life skills that may in future gain them employment.
